I love worldbuilding and creating characters who live in those worlds. Since I was a kid myself, I've always spent way too long on the "character creation" screen on any video game that had them.
I've spent thousands of hours in games like Dragon Age: Origins (and the rest of them too. They were good, and I'll die on that hill), searching for the most obscure lore about the worlds, so I could understand how the characters lived.
